My Philosophy
Tech should work for you, not the other way around.
Too many people buy gear because of slick marketing or influencer hype, then spend months fighting with it. That’s backwards. I’ve already put in the late nights so you don’t have to waste your time or money.
I receive pre-release hardware from manufacturers, but that doesn’t buy good reviews. The only thing that earns a recommendation here is actual performance in real-world use.
Why I’m Here Now
We’re living through one of the most interesting moments in consumer tech history. AI is finally becoming useful at home—not just in the cloud. Laptops are getting genuinely fast. Smart home stuff is (sometimes) less terrible than it used to be.
But there’s also more noise than ever. More companies trying to sell you solutions to problems you don’t have. More reviewers who seem to love everything.
That’s why I built this site. To cut through the noise and tell you what’s actually worth paying attention to.
